Paige DeSorbo Reveals Why Her New Apartment Was "Fate": "I Would Die..."
The Summer House cast member is now living in the NYC apartment building that she once dreamed of living in.
Paige DeSorbo's new girly apartment in Manhattan is what dreams are made of. It's got a massive closet room, a cozy spot for her cat Daphne, and just so happens to be located in the Summer House cast member's favorite apartment building in NYC.
Paige noted in a recent interview that she would previously walk past her current apartment building and wish to live there. "I used to look into the building and just be like, 'Oh my God, I love this so much. I would die to live there,'" she People in an interview published on September 25. Earlier this year, she learned that a space had become available in the building when she was ready to move out of her former $ 8,500-a-month Manhattan apartment. "I freaked out. It was truly fate," she said.
"I didn't even remember the building when I was looking for a new apartment," she continued. "And so then when my real estate agent wanted to go look at it, we were about to walk in and he was like, 'OK don't act like you love it.' And right when I stepped in the door I was like, 'No, sorry, I need this apartment.'"

Needless to say, Paige landed the most ideal space for her. "It's honestly my dream apartment," she told the publication, noting that she got an assist for her decor thanks to CB2. "It's everything I could have ever imagined. I feel like I don't live in New York City and I live in Paris, and it's just the ultimate dream apartment."
The expansive space is complete with a living room big enough for a sectional couch, built-ins, and two different fire places, with baby blue accents. It's also got an extra closet for Paige's long-distance boyfriend, Southern Charm cast member, Craig Conover, to store his clothes in, she explained to People.
"My vibe is very French girl," Paige told The Daily Dish earlier this summer. "I have bangs now, so I'm like, 'Let me just be a French girl in her apartment.' That's my new decor. Love a velvet couch, I'm thinking."
Why Paige DeSorbo decided to move out of her previous apartment
During Summer House Season 8, Episode 5, Paige opened up about her decision to move out of her former space. "We need a two-bedroom," she told Craig during the episode. "I need a room big enough to have a king-size bed."
"I love my apartment, but I feel like something's missing," Paige further explained in a confessional during the episode. "I want to involve Craig in this because I do value his opinion, and, like, I do kind of like him. So I do want him to be excited [about] where we are living when he is here. Even though it's my apartment, and what I say goes, and he'll get what he gets in terms of a closet."
Not only did Paige get her wish, but she also got Craig a closet. It sounds like a dream kind of living space for everyone.
