Get to Know Meredith Marks' Husband, Seth Marks
The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City man knows how to make his wife laugh.
It takes a special man to win the incredibly tasteful Meredith Marks' heart — and to father kids as chic as Brooks Marks (Reid, and Chloe, too). Thus, fans knew from the get-go of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City that Seth Marks was something special.
After a rough first season spent mostly apart, Meredith and Seth returned for Season 2 of RHOSLC better than ever.
"We were able to get through it and we've come out on the other side now. It still can be rocky at times, but the rocky times are getting less and less and the good times are getting more and more," Meredith said in a confessional in Episode 1.
In Season 4, the story stayed the same.
“Seth and I have been through a lot of ups and downs over 30 years. We’ve been through the wringer. And now we’re happier than ever," Meredith shared during the premiere.

Who is Seth Marks?
A Chicagoan by birth (and with a passion for the city's sports teams), Seth received his degree in sociology from the University of Arizona in 1994.
During Season 1 of RHOSLC, Seth was splitting his time between Utah and Ohio. However, after settling some of his marriage issues with Meredith, he decided to stick around Utah more in the second season.
"I think he's gonna be able to spend about 50 percent of his time here, which is amazing," Meredith told fellow RHOSLC cast member Heather Gay during Season 2 of Episode 1. "He's enjoying his time here, which is amazing."
In Season 4, the story was the same.
“Everything with Seth is fantastic. He’s spending a lot more time with me,” Meredith said during Episode 2. “Obviously nothing is perfect. I mean, there are times when I say ‘Can you please just be quiet for five minutes?’”
(It should be said, though: no matter how much he talks, Seth is pretty good at making Meredith laugh.)
What does Seth Marks do for work?
Seth currently works as Chief Merchandising Officer at Channel Control Merchants, LLC, according to his LinkedIn. In his work, he utilizes skills in finance, operations, marketing, and supply chain management.
"Seth Marks is a seasoned off-price retail leader and Chief Merchandising Officer at Channel Control Merchants (CCM), a company that specializes in reverse logistics, extreme value retail procurement and distribution," his bio reads. "With over 28 years of industry experience, Seth has a proven track record of driving growth, profitability, and operational excellence in public and private off-price retail sectors."
Seth Marks and Meredith Marks' Relationship
Since RHOSLC premiered in November 2020, fans have seen Meredith and Seth navigate the ups and downs of their marriage.
“Seth and I have been together for a really long time,” Meredith told the cameras during Season 1 Episode 2. “We met when we were 23, got married at 24, and had a baby at 25. It was just a tornado that came through and that was it. I was young but head-over-heels in love, so I went for it.”
When they joined the show, the couple (who wed in 1996) were seven years into their Utah adventure, having moved for Seth's job. During that inaugural season, they revealed that they'd actually separated.
"It's not that I want to separate, but sometimes you have to work things out individually in order to be able to come back together as a happy couple," the jewelry designer shared during a Season 1 Episode 5 confessional.
In Episode 10, they shared they'd decided to get back together. Since then, the pair have made it clear that they are in a good place. In May 2023, Meredith referred to her husband as her "forever bestie" in an Instagram post, sharing a sweet snap of them strolling together in South Carolina.
In August, Seth shared a message to Meredith in honor of their 27th wedding anniversary.
"Our journey has been filled with lots of ups, some not so fun downs, but through it all, my love for you has not only remained unwavering, but it’s grows everyday (Seriously, how TF does my love for you keep growing? ). Here’s to 27 more years of soul filling moments that only true love can bring," he wrote on Instagram. "Cheers to us and all the other riding the true love roller coaster. Arms up!!!"
Seth Marks and Meredith Marks' Family
Seth and Meredith share three children: sons Reid and Brooks and daughter Chloe.
"There is no greater gift than the opportunity to be a parent. Being a parent is life’s ultimate privilege," wrote Seth in a January 2022 birthday post for Reid.
Seth Marks and Meredith Marks' Podcast
During RHOSLC Season 4 Episode 1, Seth and Meredith revealed they were starting a podcast, Hanging by a Thread, to help fans with their own marital issues.
“It's a podcast about relationships, because we're perpetually hanging by a thread, even though I will say our relationship is better than it's ever been. I think all relationships are somewhat perpetually hanging by a thread. But it's interesting working together," Meredith told People. "We spend a huge amount of time together already just because we do travel so much, and a lot of times, he’s working all day from the same space I'm in."
