Melissa Gorga and her daughter, Antonia Gorga, have a lot in common. For one thing, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom has passed her flair for fashion onto her firstborn kid — and the two make great shopping buddies as a result.
In March, Melissa shared a sweet TikTok video that showed her and Antonia shopping for senior prom dresses. In the post, Taylor Swift’s “Never Grow Up” played in the background as the mother-daughter duo sifted through several stylish gowns. Ultimately, Antonia selected a sparkly blue dress from Castle Couture that had a structured corset bodice and a striking fishtail silhouette.
Though the two frequently collaborate on fashion choices, Melissa has joked that she's not open to sharing all of her ideas with her University of Delaware freshman. The Envy boutique owner recently shared a hilarious text thread between her and Antonia, which indicated as such.
The Latest on Melissa Gorga and Antonia Gorga's Relationship
In an October 12 Instagram Story, Melissa shared a photo of her back-and-forth with Antonia. "I've decided my [daughter's] name is gonna be Valentina Blair, isn't that cute [?]" Antonia wrote. She went on to share that her next child would be named Santino Anthony. "So cute right [?]" she asked her mom.
Melissa hilariously responded: "Omg! If I had another daughter I was naming her Valentina! Stop copying me." Antonia's retort? "Bro no I've always loved the name Valentina [you] copied me." To caption the screenshot of the conversation, Melissa wrote: "Texts with [Antonia.] It's the bro for me ..."
Since Antonia moved into her Delaware dorm room in August, Melissa has shared more of the messages and photos she's received from her daughter. On September 10, Melissa took to Instagram to post a Story that showed Antonia and another student standing in a hallway with oversize laundry bags on their backs. Antonia had a big smile on her face and a bottle of detergent in her hand. “These are the pics [Antonia] texts me these dayyssss,” Melissa captioned the post. “Laundry Day!”
What Else Melissa Gorga's Family Is Up To
Melissa and her husband, Joe Gorga, have also shared updates about their two boys. In one recent Instagram Story, Melissa shared a peek at a football field, where her youngest son, Joey, was "catching that ball." Meanwhile, Joe shared a photo of himself and their older son, Gino, lifting weights.
Gino has long been making his parents proud in the wrestling ring. On February 5, Joe shared a video of his son in full “beast mode” at a match. “That’s my boy,” Joe wrote. “Just like his daddy.”
