Melissa Gorga Shows Off Her Beautifully Upgraded Shore House Living Room (PHOTO)
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom's vacation home has a chic new look.
After purchasing a stunning vacation home on the New Jersey shore, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga have truly made the most of their getaway, often hosting family and friends for memorable experiences. In the video you can watch above, Melissa shared how she and her husband outfitted the place inside and out, following a clean, white aesthetic throughout.
On August 25, Melissa gave another glimpse into the home's living room, which she appeared to have updated slightly since giving BravoTV.com a full tour in 2021.
In the recent Instagram Story, The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom posed in a stunning, shimmery blue mini dress in the living room area of her shore home, showing off the room's details in the process.
We spotted the gold leaf-pattern art pieces and circular overhead lighting fixture Melissa pointed out in the aforementioned video tour. Additionally, while Melissa kept her large, cream-colored sectional and gray rectangular coffee table, she seemed to have swapped out some of the old throw pillows for new black accents, giving the room a chic upgrade.
"I wanted a real nautical feel in here that still has a little Melissa Gorga flair to it," Melissa notes in the above video tour. We'd say the mom of three was definitely successful with her Jersey Shore decor!
Melissa Gorga's "perfect Sunday" at her vacation home
In addition to the recent glimpse into her living room, Melissa shared a behind-the-scenes look at some fun Sunday activities with loved ones.
"Pool day with the fammm," Melissa wrote over a June Instagram Story of she and her husband, Joe, hanging with their guests in the home's pool.
The group also enjoyed a delicious-looking brunch catered by Taylor Sam's. "How good does this look?" Melissa asked in an Instagram Story video, capturing photos of some of the dishes, including tuna, chicken, Caesar salad, eggplant rollatini, and more.
"Perfect Sunday meal at the shore," Joe wrote over his own Instagram Story of the scrumptious meal.
Is Melissa Gorga selling her New Jersey vacation home?
Though Melissa notes in the video above that her family's shore home is her "happy place," she and Joe once considered selling it in 2021 to possibly buy a house in the Hamptons. As she revealed in a recent interview, they have since decided against that plan.
"We're not going to sell the shore house," Melissa told BravoTV.com. "I think I decided that even if we get something in the Hamptons as well, we're not going to. I have the best property for where I grew up. And I'm like, you can't rebuy the piece of property that I have in Toms River."
"My roots are there. I went to high school there," she continued. "I just said to Joe this is actually something...we're going to hold on to this and give it to our kids' kids. There's no reason to let it go as of now. Thank God. So right now, we're going to keep it, and I mean, we'll see if it ends up being empty constantly and no one ever goes there, then maybe. But for right now, we're still using it."
