Meghan King Edmonds Says Ex Jim Edmonds Is Dating Someone New
The RHOC alum explained her connection to her estranged husband's alleged new girlfriend on her podcast.
Days after Meghan King Edmonds' ex, Jim Edmonds, deleted all the photos of her from his Instagram, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum is alleging that her estranged husband has moved on to a new relationship. In the latest episode of her podcast Intimate Knowledge, Meghan revealed that she believes Jim is now dating a woman with whom they both have a prior connection.
During the episode, Meghan states that she recently found out that her Jim, from whom she officially split last year, is reportedly dating someone new. Meghan also revealed that the woman who Jim is allegedly now seeing is a former friend — one who the former couple once had a threesome with early on in their marriage.
“We were newlyweds and trying to have fun, and he wanted to have a threesome,” Meghan said, explaining that she decided to go through with it after taking some time to think it over. “We decided to have a threesome — a consensual adult decision — with a friend of mine. I felt very comfortable with her. It just felt like, OK, if I’m going to do this, this can be with who, and I’m comfortable with that.”
According to Meghan, she and Jim didn’t have much more contact with the woman over the years, although they ran into each other occasionally. Now, Meghan alleges that Jim and her former friend are now dating and that he even took her on a vacation to Cabo.
“I find out that when he goes to Cabo for a birthday party… for my understanding, he takes this girl with him,” she stated.
She went on to explain, “They are in Cabo right now. This girl who I thought was my friend, who I cast aside my [uncomfortableness] with a threesome, everything that I had in my head about a threesome being weird and gross — you know, because I was fun and I wanted to do things for my husband. And then this girl betrayed me.”
When co-hosts Brooke Burke and Lila Darville asked if she believed Jim and this woman were having an ongoing affair, she said, “I think they probably had sex more than one time.”
Meghan also said she confronted the woman in question, stating, “I texted her and said, I’m OK, like, I’m an adult. I’m OK with people moving on, but why couldn’t you have said to me — as a friend, she’s a friend! Like, why couldn’t she have said something to me?”
An emotional Meghan started tearing up as she discussed the situation, stating, “I understand being caught up in a new relationship… but it’s just so hurtful.”
She went on to add, “I never told anybody I had a threesome because it just felt like something I wasn’t proud of. And now this is the woman he’s with?”
Of why she decided to share her story now, Meghan says, “I want to share it because I don’t want to feel shame by the decision that I made. But I also want to talk about it because not only do I not want to feel shame for that, but I want to feel the hurt that I feel right now because of what happened. And I can’t fully explain that without being truthful and open about the experience that I had.”
Meghan and Jim share three kids, daughter Aspen and twin boys Hart and Hayes. The two, who confronted allegations of infidelity in 2018, confirmed their split last October after five years of marriage.
