Dr. Simone and Cecil Whitmore Mourn Their Dog
The Married to Medicine couple bid a fond farewell to a four-legged family member.
Dr. Simone Whitmore and her husband, Cecil Whitmore, are mourning the loss of their sweet Schnauzer, Sam, who recently passed away.
"Our family was blessed for 4+ years with a best friend like none other!" the Married to Medicine OB-GYN wrote in an Instagram post.
"What happened to Sam?" asked one commenter on Simone's Instagram post.
"The Vets are still baffled but Sam’s lungs were completely filled with fibrosis," Simone replied.
Cecil also made a touching post remembering good times to memorialize his "best friend" on his Instagram feed.
"It seemed just only yesterday that you were introduced to your forever home and now you are gone from us," he wrote. "Over the years, you have given our family plenty of happy memories which we will cherish forever. Like the times when you would randomly sprint around the house for no reason or when you had a scared look on your face when dad picked you up while dancing. I am deeply heartbroken by your passing but what hurts even more is that I was unable to say goodbye to my Bestfriend one last time."
