Marlo Hampton Reveals How She Got Her House and the Story Is Incredible

Out of all of the fabulous gifts Marlo Hampton has received over the years, her home would be at the top of her list of favorites. Marlo shared with The Daily Dish that her townhouse, which she lovingly calls "The Hamptons," was given to her by her former unnamed billionaire boyfriend about a decade ago. He also bought a home for Marlo's mother. "We dated for five years, so it was a serious relationship. My home, I got for my birthday, what, 10 years ago," Marlo revealed during an interview with The Daily Dish earlier this season (clip above). "And I was shocked, because I didn't know I was just getting [my home paid for]." 

Marlo also joked about her decision to ask for a townhouse, "I should've got something bigger, now that I think about it."

Anyone would be grateful to receive a home as a present, but it was especially meaningful for Marlo, who grew up in foster care. "That was just a blessing. Instead of purses and shoes, I love all that, but I feel it's important to have investments in things that have substantial value. The home will always be amazing to me," Marlo shared. "I just feel I will always have a home. It's always been a problem with me ... I never want to be evicted or lose it or try and keep up with the Joneses. To me, having a home is so important." 

Marlo has truly made "The Hamptons" her own over the years with the look of the crib showcasing the woman she is today. "'The Hamptons,' my home, it's just Marlo. It's sexy. You have black flowers, you have black candles. It's just a groovy, eclectic style. Like, you don't know what you're going to get. You're going to come over here and see a tree branch. You might have a ham hanging over here if I could've gotten that blinged-out ham from Barcelona, that would have been amazing," she described. "So my home is just all over the place, like me. But it's amazing. It's a piece of art."
