These Are the Biggest Diva Moments in Bravo History According to WWHL Staffers

If Andy Cohen loves anything, it's a diva. He only helped create a little thing known as The Real Housewives franchise and we mean, hello: 

The diva worship is real. When The Daily Dish podcast hosts Rachael and Megan interviewed Talent Associate Producer Anthony Lella and Story Associate Producer Danny Visconti about everything Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, divas were at the top of the list, as they should be. But who had the biggest diva moments of all? The answers might surprise you.

Let's start with one of most diva-y divas of all: Patti LuPone. On her arrival to the WWHL Clubhouse, Anthony was at the door waiting and blasting her song "Some People" from the musical Gypsy. He recalled, "She walked in and I was like, 'I'm blasting Gypsy like a good gay boy,' and she was like, 'Who wouldn't?!' in her classic LuPone tone." "She's not even like, 'Oh my God that's nice," Danny added. "She's like, 'Of course you are!'" Ah, delicious diva perfection. But the moments didn't stop there. 

Onto Mariah Carey's most recent appearance. Let's start with the fact that Mariah, of course, had Andy switch places in the Clubhouse. A girl's gotta show off her best side! But there's more to that night than we realized. Remember that butterscotch drink she shared with Andy? 

Anthony gave us the backstory on this amazing WWHL moment. "Last time she came on she pulled me aside as was like, 'Darling, I want to surprise Andy with this (butterscotch) schnapps on the show. Darling, we're going to do hot chocolate like I do in Aspen,'" he recalled. "She pulls out this kind of basic bottle of butterscotch schnapps, like ones that you find at like Bottle King in the corner...and she's like, 'You need to find a gorgeous, gorgeous bottle or some decanter to put this in.'" Just the amount of "darlings" in that story solidifies her diva status (not that anyone was doubting that). Then you have the request for a "gorgeous, gorgeous" decanter just lying around the Clubhouse. Yas, girl, get what you want. That's what diva's do! 

But who had the biggest entourage? Not Mariah, not Naomi Campbell (a diva you can smell before you see according to the producers), but comedian Kevin Hart. Anthony explained during a The Daily Dish podcast round of Plead the Fifth, "He rolled up with four SUVs...it was crazy he rolled up with so many people. And Andy called him out on it on the show..." But Kevin Hart had a good answer, according to Anthony. "He was like, 'To be quite honest with you, that's my whole company. We travel together. It's a f***ing corporation.'" Don't question a divo on his needs.

The divo moments didn't stop there. Danny shared his favorite entourage moment in Bravo history: "When Diddy was on the show, he had a guy who it appeared to be his sole job to pick up his socks...like make his socks stay up. And I was like, 'Well, that's my life goal.'" It's ours now, too. Really, Anthony and Danny just laid out our future and we are trying to secret it to life as we speak.
