Gizelle Bryant and Jamal Bryant are continuing to use their voices for social change. The Real Housewives of Potomac couple was among the thousands of demonstrators who traveled to Washington, D.C. to demand racial justice during the March on Washington on Friday, August 28.

Gizelle documented their participation on Instagram, sharing a photo in front of the Lincoln Memorial, as well as a short clip of the powerful speech that Jamal delivered at the rally.

“Today was a great day!
@jamalhbryant doing what he does best!” she wrote in the caption of the post, also adding hashtags that read, “March On Washington 2020” and “Commitment March.”

While addressing the crowd, Jamal, who also spoke at the private memorial for George Floyd earlier this year, urged the Black community to exercise their right to vote. “Even when you render us paralyzed, we still know how to crawl. We’re going to crawl to the polls if we have to,” he said.

Jamal later took to his own Instagram to thank the attendees for showing up, writing in part, “It’s not a moment ...it’s a movement.”

Gizelle and Jamal weren’t the only familiar faces from RHOP to partake in the March on Washington. Wendy Osefo shared her own reflections on the experience, writing, “On the 57th Anniversary of Martin Luther King’s historic I Have a Dream speech, I am honored to stand on the same steps side by side with leaders of the movement using our voice and platform to make a difference. We won’t stop.”

Candiace Dillard Bassett was also in attendance at the rally. “There are so many ways to protest. Being present today was just one. Grateful for the opportunity to use my voice with my sisters (and my sister!),” she wrote on Instagram.
