Louie Ruelas Just Announced a Pet-Focused Business Venture
The RHONJ husband says the company's mission is to support the health and well-being of "your furry family members."
Luis “Louie” Ruelas has officially entered the pet insurance game.
The Real Housewives of New Jersey husband shared the career update via Instagram on Friday (Aug. 11), just hours after he embarked on a business trip to Southern California. Louie posted a series of photos that featured the logo for “Pet Priority,” an insurance company that is committed to the “health and well-being of your furry family members.”
Louie Ruelas launches Pet Priority insurance company
“We are thrilled to announce the Phase 1 launch of Pet Priority, a revolutionary pet insurance matching service dedicated to finding comprehensive coverage for your cherished animals,” the caption read. “Join us on this exciting adventure as we put your pet’s health first. With Pet Priority, your beloved animals will receive the care they deserve, leaving you with the priceless gift of peace of mind… Your pets deserve the very best, and we’re here to make it happen from nose to tail. You won’t believe what we have in store next!”
Louie said the company is still in the beginning stages but urged his followers to keep their eyes peeled for updates.
Gia Giudice reacts to Louie's career announcement
It’s safe to assume Louie has first-hand experience with pet insurance policies, as he and his wife, RHONJ’s Teresa Giudice, share a home with four pet dogs: Marley, Rosey, and two named Bella.
“Vet bills are very high and at times uncontrollable – we’ve come up with a solid solution for this,” he wrote in response to a comment. “We have 4 dogs and vet bills can insane! We hope to make this process easier… just over 2% of America has an insurance policy on there pets meanwhile Americans spend millions on Vet bills annually when they can opt for an average plan for $63 bucks a month.”
Louie’s oldest stepdaughter, Gia Giudice, seemingly co-signed the business move, as she left a comment that simply read, “amazing!” followed by a heart emoji.
Louie's Work History
During a Feb. 14 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Louie confirmed he had started a new company in the digital media space after stepping down from his previous position. When asked to elaborate, the East Coast native told host Andy Cohen he did “lead generation ad sales.”
Louie and his youngest son, Louie Ruelas Jr., continue to run Men of Legacy, a company that aims to reinforce father-and-son relationships. On Aug. 11, the Jersey dad shared a photo of him and his son at the airport as they prepared to go on a work trip.
“Off on a work adventure with my handsome son one airport at a time!” he captioned the post. “I’ve been an Entrepreneur for over 30 years and today the world is more wide open than ever to create the life you want! Follow your dreams and passions and FAIL FORWARD!”
It's unclear if Louie Jr. has any involvement in Pet Priority.
