Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Asks for Empathy Amid The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Drama
"I am asking you to be mindful of the fact that we are also real people, that your words hurt," she shared.
No matter how you feel about the drama currently going down on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this season, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is asking for a little understanding from all fans.
The accountability coach took to Instagram to ask fans to have some empathy as this season of RHOBH unfolds. "I started this Instagram in 2015 with this pic as a way to hold myself accountable to my health and fitness goals," Teddi wrote in a post that featured a throwback photo of herself with daughter Slate and son Cruz. "I have been open and honest with sharing my journey. I have good days and bad days and up until these last couple weeks I have loved every second of the [ebbs] and flows of it. I want to continue being vulnerable with those of you who follow me because you also want to be all in on your life or because you think Cruz is funny or because you like to watch my crazy mom life Instagram and relate it to your own."
Teddi went on to say that even though she and her fellow Beverly Hills Housewives put their whole lives on display on RHOBH, she asked fans "to be mindful of the fact that we are also real people, that your words hurt." "So to those of you who are here for positive reasons; I thank you. For those of you who are here to attack, please see yourself the door," she concluded the note. "I have a clear conscience and the truth always prevails but I am not interested in waking up to threats or hate every day."
Teddi has found herself in the middle of Lisa Vanderpump and Dorit Kemsley's drama as one of the people who was informed of what happened after Dorit and her family adopted a dog from the Vanderpump Dog Center. In the latest episode of RHOBH, Teddi left the dinner table seemingly upset after being accused of "gossiping" about the story when the subject came up during the girls' trip to the Bahamas.
Now in her second season of RHOBH, Teddi said that we should be prepared to see her really speak her mind in Season 9. "I think everything shifted because I know everybody better now. So the first season, I was just getting to know everyone, so I was a little more quiet. That's not really who I am; I kind of say what I think in the moment once I know people," Teddi teased during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen prior to the Season 9 premiere. "So I'm just more comfortable, and I've built stronger friendships because of it."
