Lisa Vanderpump Has Some Words of Advice for Scheana Shay's New Boyfriend

Scheana Shay recently revealed that she's dating again following her split from Mike Shay. The Vanderpump Rules SURver first confirmed the news that a new man is in her life during an appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen earlier this month. She shared, "Is there a secret man? I mean, not secret to my friends."

Now sources tell E! News that Scheana's dating her longtime friend, actor Robert Valletta, the brother to model Amber Valletta.

When Lisa Vanderpump stopped by The Daily Dish offices on Wednesday, she didn't confirm Scheana's boyfriend's identity, but she did have some words for anyone who might want to criticize the SURver for finding love again just months after she announced her divorce from Mike last November.

"She is dating somebody else. No, I haven't met him but I'm sure she'll be criticized for dating someone so quickly after a marriage," Lisa shared. "But why not? Life is short and I think if she has the opportunity to have fun with somebody, screw what everybody else says."

In fact, Lisa had some words of wisdom for any potential suitors for Scheana. "Well I think [the divorce] was largely part of the blame lays with Shay. I don't think you can enter into marriage without being completely honest with somebody about your personal stance, especially regarding sobriety. And I think he was guilty by omission and I think that was incredibly unfair for him to put her in that position to have to deal with that," she said. "And I'm not saying she wouldn't have married him, but I think she should have known before she committed to the relationship. Now I think she's young, she'll bounce back from it. But I know for a fact that he was her everything. And the reason we love Shay was because he was very supportive of her. And I think it's sad, but I hope she finds somebody that will join in an honest relationship."
