Lisa Barlow Reflects on the RHOSLC Reunion: "I Was Shocked at How Many Emotions Came Out"
The RHOSLC cast member got real about the reunion, as well as her friendships with the other ladies.
Lisa Barlow didn’t hold back when it came time to speak her mind during Part 2 of the Season 1 reunion. The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member took the opportunity to say everything she needed to, and reflected on the moment during her February 21 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen.
When Andy Cohen asked Lisa if she was “at all surprised with how long it took to film the reunion or how many emotions it could bring out,” the entrepreneur admitted she wasn’t expecting the event to go down the way it did.
“Oh my gosh, I was shocked. I went into it feeling really calm and like, excited for a great day, wondering when we were going to take a snack break. And I was shocked at how many emotions came out. It was a lot. It was a long day,” Lisa explained in the video above. Speaking of the snack break, it looks like Lisa and Heather Gay skipped lunchtime to chat through some of their differences.
During WWHL, Andy also asked Lisa why she was “so angry with Heather going into the reunion,” and if she really believes “that her interpretation of you affected viewers?” Lisa replied, “I definitely do. And I think it was, she created a narrative for me based off of a lie of knowing me for 20 years. And I think when I went in there, I just wanted people to know the truth. Like, I met her in 2017 and we know each other now, but we didn’t know each other then.”
Lisa also weighed in on her friendship with Jen Shah, explaining why she felt it was so important to stick up for her during the sit-down.
“I just see Jen in a totally different way than everyone else does, and I feel like some of the stuff that happened in Vegas, I just feel like she was misunderstood and I really got her and I feel like she needs an ally and a good friend,” said Lisa. “I’m one of five girls, I’m used to being a good girlfriend. I love taking care of girls.”
Speaking of being a good girlfriend, Lisa also shared how she really feels about her bestie, Meredith Marks. When Andy asked if Lisa felt Meredith was “too disengaged” when Heather accused Lisa of being a bad friend, she replied, “You know, everyone can do whatever they want to do. I’m very passionate when I defend my friends, and you know, Meredith could have engaged a little more.”
