Lala Kent Opens Up About Her Palm Springs Vacation Home: "You Can Finally Breathe"
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has the perfect place to go when she wants to escape the chaos of LA.
When Lala Kent needs some rest and relaxation, she has one place to go — her vacation home in Palm Springs, California.
The Vanderpump Rules cast member is currently pregnant with her second child, and busy raising her 3-year-old daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett. But when Lala and Ocean need to get away from the chaos of their life in the Valley, or just want to have some fun in the sun, they have an oasis in the desert waiting for them.
"This house is my sanctuary," Lala said of her Palm Springs home in a post to her Instagram Story in March. "There is nothing like the desert."

Lala recently gave NYLON a look inside her ideal Palm Springs weekend for their Spring/Summer 2024 issue.
Lala said that she will typically leave the Valley on Thursday afternoon so she can make it in time for Palm Springs VillageFest, which is held on Thursday nights. "There's something about Palm Springs where, as soon as you see the windmills when you're driving in, you can finally breathe," she told NYLON.
Lala's definition of breathing includes getting brunch at Wilma & Frieda's for "the best lattes" and "to die for" baked goods before taking a drive out to the Desert Hills Premium Outlets for shopping. "There's over 150 stores and I have a field day," she told the magazine. "Some people get turned off by outlets, but my mom had me go once, and I was like, 'This is a hidden gem.'"
Lala and Ocean are homebodies when they're not eating or shopping. It certainly helps that the Palm Springs house has a pool, which Ocean loves being in.
But when she needs to have a fun night out on the town, the Give Them Lala podcast host will get dinner at Birba and later head to Chill Bar. Although she is five years sober, Lala revealed that they play "the most amazing music" that makes her feel like she's got "an epic buzz going."

Inside Lala Kent's Palm Springs Home
It certainly helps that her Palm Springs home is located right next to Scheana Shay's vacation home. And it just so happens that Scheana's daughter, Summer Moon Honey Davies is BFFs with Ocean.
"This bitch just bought a house next door to me," Scheana said during a March 2023 episode of her podcast, Scheaningans with Scheana Shay.
The house has a pool and sits on a golf course, which has a stunning view of the mountains from the backyard, and makes it perfect for entertaining friends and family members. Although her and Ocean have enjoyed the pool in the summer, they use the home year round.
In December 2023, Lala and Ocean celebrated Christmas in Palm Springs. And just this past weekend, Lala used the house as her Coachella weekend one home base.
It will only be a matter of time before Lala's second daughter, due in September, joins their Palm Springs crew.
