Days after the mom of two gave birth, the Vanderpump Rules cast member took to her Instagram Story, where she revealed that she had her placenta encapsulated into pills for her consumption. She mentioned that she had previously done this in 2021 when she gave birth to her first daughter, Ocean Kent Emmett

"I've spoken about encapsulating my placenta after I gave birth to Ocean," she wrote in the now-disappeared Instagram Story (according to Reality Tea). "I felt it helped me adjust into postpartum and leveled my overall mood."

"I did it again with Sosa, and I'm having the exact same experience," she continued. "This isn't to open the 'do it-don't do it' conversation. It's simply to share my personal thoughts and experiences."

Navigating breastfeeding this time around has been just as tricky for Lala. She also took to Instagram this week, where she shared a photo of her wearing a nursing bra, cuddling Sosa close to her chest. In the caption, she revealed that Sosa did not agree with the food she had eaten the night before and had a "sleepless night" because of it.

"Something I ate did not agree with Sosa," Lala wrote over the sweet photo. "I thought I would have learned after the cauliflower incident with Ocean while breastfeeding. NOPE!"

"Say it with me...BLAND. DIET.," she concluded.

The "cauliflower incident" happened in April 2021, just weeks after Lala had given birth to Ocean. At the time, Lala had feasted on a vegan meal of beans and cauliflower, which she didn't realize would interfere with her daughter's stomach so much. "Ocean screamed, cried, and fussed from morning until night," she wrote in her Instagram Story at the time, documenting it all. "I clued in after my second feed and switched from the boob to a bottle with saved milk."

Lala learned to never have a sleepless night like that ever again, concluding that she had to pump "all the vegan out these milk jugs."

Lala Kent shares how Ocean is adjusting to new baby sister, Sosa

Aside from their food mishap, things seem to be going well for Lala, Ocean, and baby Sosa. Lala has been active on her Instagram Story this week, giving her followers updates on postpartum life as she naviagtes life with two daughters. Even though Sosa did not agree with her diet, Lala revealed that they have been having "lots of skin to skin, lots of boobie time, lots of staring & thanking God."

But most importantly, Ocean is in love with her baby sister. "For real though, Ocean is absolutely obsessed with Sosa," she wrote in a statement, posted to her Instagram Story on September 10. "It was love at first sight. We are all over the moon about the newest addition to our pod."
