Meredith Marks Explains Why She Got a Third Breast Reduction: "It's Wild"
RHOSLC's Meredith Marks shed light on her latest cosmetic procedure.
Meredith Marks is getting real about why she's needed to get three separate breast reduction surgeries.
During a recent appearance on the Virtual Reali-Tea podcast, The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City cast member explained that her "breast tissue doesn’t stop growing."
"It’s wild. Seriously, I have this weird issue and I’m hoping this is [my final breast reduction],” she said on the podcast. "I never wanted to be that big."
Meredith hasn't gotten an official diagnosis explaining why this keeps happening, but she said she thinks it could be "hormonal and genetic" because her mom dealt with it as well.
"I mean, my mom started growing in her 40s and same kind of thing," she continued. "I just was too big to start."
The mom of three also noted that the issue has caused some problems with her finding clothes that properly fit.
"That’s a whole thing," she said about finding outfits that work for her body. "When you have to go up two sizes to accommodate your chest, nothing sits right. It’s just not good... It’s weird."
However, since getting her third reduction done, she said that "clothes are fitting better now." And if the tissue grows back again, Meredith said that she is prepared to go under for a fourth time.
What to expect from Meredith Marks on RHOSLC Season 5
Per a press release for RHOSLC Season 5, the five-time snowflake holder is celebrating a major life event in Season 5: having a bat mitzvah. The occasion brings Meredith closer to her husband, Seth Marks, and to her Jewish faith.
Meredith's friendships are in a different place on Season 5. She's in a better place with Lisa Barlow, but her relationship with Whitney Rose becomes fractured when the two create competing bath products.
As the trailer (which you can check out above) reveals, Meredith's long-standing friendship with Mary Cosby is also suffering in Season 5.
"You're not always the victim," Mary says to Meredith at an event featured in the teaser trailer.
"No, I am not," Meredith responds.
"Have a good day," Mary says as she starts to walk away from her former pal.
"Yeah, you used me for three years, I got the memo," Meredith fires back.
Meredith shared new details about her rift with Mary during a chat with Extra.
"I wish I could tell you what the conflict is over," Meredith admitted. "But I can't. I don't understand it."
"I don't really know what the problem is there, which is a bit unsettling to me, because, usually when there's a problem, I like to understand what it is," Meredith continued to the outlet. "And usually when someone starts coming at me, there should be a reason for it, especially when I've been there for them for years when nobody else would be."
