Kyle Richards and Kathy Hilton appear to be making huge strides in repairing their relationship.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills sisters reunited this week for a family get-together in Aspen, Colorado. The two traveled to the mountain town for the wedding of Whitney Davis, the second oldest daughter of their other sister, RHOBH alum Kim Richards. On the eve of the nuptial ceremony — scheduled for Saturday, June 24 — Kyle took to Instagram to share a look at a pre-wedding festivity that included both of her siblings and some of their “offspring.”
Kathy calls the family event “beautiful”
Kyle posted a video of the family dressed in Western-inspired outfits while performing a karaoke rendition of “We Are Family,” the 1979 classic by Sister Sledge. The RHOBH mom tagged her sisters; her daughters, Farrah Brittany, Alexia Umansky, Sophia Umansky, and Portia Umansky; and Kim’s daughters, Whitney, Brooke Wiederhorn, and Kimberly Jackson.
Kathy reflected on the moment in the comments section, writing, “Such a beautiful night with ‘Our Family’!!!”
Kyle and Kathy’s Roller-Coaster Relationship
Kyle and Kathy’s relationship has been complicated and contentious at times. After their years-long estrangement, the sisters reunited on RHOBH Season 11, which featured Kathy as a friend. The two ended the following season on a not-so-pleasant note, as they remained at odds over a heated spat that went down in Aspen.
“We’re sisters. We’ll be fine,” Kyle told E! News ahead of the Season 12 reunion. “We are family at the end of the day, we are blood, and you have to make things right.”
Middle sister Kim was also optimistic that her siblings would mend their relationship, as the families had so many milestones to celebrate in 2023.
“It’s a great time,” Kim told Access Hollywood back in March. “We have babies coming and babies born and weddings coming up. My daughter Whitney’s getting married, and [Kyle’s] daughter [Farrah Aldjufrie]’s getting married, and this would be a fun time for us all to be together and it’s really putting a damper [on it] at the moment. But, we will get through it.”

The “pre-wedding celebration” took place about a month after Kyle and Kathy reconnected for Whitney’s bridal shower. The former posted a photo of herself and her sisters posing alongside Whitney, Farrah, Brooke, and Kimberly.
“My beautiful niece [Whitney] is getting married,” she captioned the post. “A beautiful shower for our Whittles. So happy for you [and fiancé Luke White].”
