Kathryn C. Dennis Shares the Sweet Birthday Gift Her Daughter Gave Her as She Prepares to "Bring on This Next Year"

When it comes to the perks of being a mom, one that must rank at the top of the list is getting heartfelt, homemade gifts from your kiddos. So we're not too surprised that Kathryn C. Dennis was pretty excited to see the totally adorable present her daughter, Kensington, gave her at bedtime this week.
The Southern Charm mom was so touched by the token of love that she, like any proud mama would, shared it with the world on Instagram. "Before bed, Kensie gave me a yellow egg and told me to open it..." And when she did, she found a little heart, made by her daughter herself, inside. Now if you don't heart that gesture, we don't know what's wrong with you.

Kathryn has never been shy to open up about how much of being a mom has been a gift for her in her evolution over the last few years. In fact, Kathryn recently and very optimistically noted that since celebrating her 27th birthday last weekend, she's definitely ready for whatever happens next with this rather on-point hashtag: "#bringonthisnextyear."
