We Have a Major Update on Madison LeCroy and Kathryn Dennis’ Friendship

The on-and-off friendship between Southern Charm’s Madison LeCroy and Kathryn Dennis seems to be heading in a much more positive direction. The fellow cast members just gave fans a surprising update on where things stand between them, and, well, stranger things have happened.

On Friday, November 11, Kathryn posted a photo, which Madison also shared on her own IG account, showing them happily lounging together outdoors. “Cause I just wanna do country A$$ [s--t] with my country A$$ friends,” the Southern Charm mom captioned the shot, referencing lyrics from singer Morgan Wallen’s 2021 track “Country A$$ S--t” and adding a cowboy emoji.

As Southern Charm viewers will likely recall, Madison extended an olive branch by inviting Kathryn to her joint birthday party with Venita Aspen during Season 8. Around the time the episode aired in July 2022, Madison explained her decision in an interview with The Daily Dish.

“I [didn’t] have any bad blood with Kathryn at the time,” the bride-to-be said, adding that they were still “cordial.” As Madison summed up, “We're good.”

Though Venita “wasn’t thrilled” that Madison invited Kathryn and Olivia Flowers, the duo quickly moved on nonetheless. Their friendship still went through some ups and downs later, though. On Part 1 of the Southern Charm reunion, Austen Kroll asked Madison and Venita if they were “friends right now,” and Madison quickly replied, “No.”

By the time BravoCon 2022 rolled around, however, all seemed to be forgiven. “When I saw her cute little face, I was like, ‘Damn it!’ We’re good,” Madison explained at the Southern Charmers panel on October 16. After Venita joked, “You can’t stay mad at me too long,” her fellow cast member agreed, adding, “I can’t. I cannot stay mad at you.”

Apparently, the same was eventually true for Madison and Kathryn too.
