Olivia Flowers and Kathryn Dennis are no longer castmates… but are they still close friends?
Just weeks after the Southern Charm Season 9 premiere, series alum Kathryn took to Instagram to provide a quick update on her relationship with Olivia. The mother of two posted a sweet photo that showed her and the Southern Charm-er in her living room as they lovingly embraced one another. The picture was accompanied by a brief but heartfelt message that shed more light on the Bravolebrities' longstanding friendship.
“All the times I’ve been told don’t worry the good ones will still be there in the end, turns out it’s true,” Kathryn captioned the picture.
Olivia returned the kind words just several hours later when she reshared the October 1 post in an Instagram Story. “Love you my girl,” the California native wrote.

Olivia joined the Southern Charm cast in 2022’s Season 8, which also marked Kathryn’s swan song. Olivia was among Kathryn’s closest confidante’s during the season, and continued the friendship well after filming wrapped.
It was nearly a year ago when the two stepped out for a Charleston Halloween party alongside Southern Charm’s Taylor Ann Green. Kathryn shared the fun-filled night in an Instagram post, which showed all three ladies rocking racy costumes.
“Goth for the first time since 7th grade,” the Southern Charm alum wrote. “More importantly the 3 of us are single at the same time, for the first time… eat your heart out [Vanderpump Rules' James Kennedy].”
Kathryn Dennis' Southern Charm Exit
Kathryn confirmed her Southern Charm exit in January 2023, almost a decade after the series premiere.
“What a wild ride it’s been! Can you believe I was 21 when I first started filming Southern Charm, back in its first season?” she said in a statement to People magazine. “Y’all watched me grow up, become a mom to two amazing children, and build friendships I’ll always treasure. I’ll be carrying that love with me as I enter this next chapter of my life, away from the Southern Charm lens. I’m thankful for Bravo, the producers at Haymaker and my Charleston cast mates for everything, and I’m excited for whatever comes next. It'll be a memorable ride if it’s anything like the last decade. LFG [let’s f---ing go].”
Craig Conover on his relationship with Kathryn Dennis
Months after the announcement, Southern Charm OG Craig Conover shared some supportive words for Kathryn and revealed where he stood with the Charleston mom. He provided the update during his September 22 appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, admitting he and Kathryn hadn't spoken in some time.
“I’ve tried [to reach out],” Craig said. “We really miss Kathryn and we hope she’s doing well. She’s just trying to work her stuff out.”
