Landon Clements on Kathryn C. Dennis: "Every Time I Extend the Olive Branch It Just Massively Backfires”
Will the #SouthernCharm ladies be able to settle their beef this season?
Has the dust settled between Kathryn C. Dennis and Landon Clements? The two Southern Charm women have never really gotten along — especially in the wake of comments from Kathryn that something on the romantic spectrum happened between Landon and her ex, Thomas Ravenel. Landon denied it at the Season 3 reunion and recently told Entertainment Tonight that she's keeping her distance from Kathryn as much as possible.
“For right now, I need to concentrate on myself and what's best for me. I think everything will fall into place from there," Landon shared, adding, “I've always been supportive of her. She can say what she wants about me, but that's not how I feel about her. I have two younger sisters and, you know, from the moment I met Kathryn, my sisters and I tried to bring her into our little crew ... I feel like every time I extend the olive branch, it just massively backfires.”
Kathryn opened up at the beginning of this season that she had gotten treatment at rehab. And Landon had this message for the mother of two: “I just really wish her the best and hope that in the coming months and years, she can find her way.”
As for a previous comment Kathryn made about not wanting Landon around her two kids with Thomas, Landon shared, “I love those kids. For her to say that I can't be around them because of some sort of character flaw, I took great offense to that.”
