Kandi Burruss Reflects on Turning 45: "It's Time to Take it Up a Notch"
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member has some major plans in store for the next year.
As we’ve seen time and time again (and particularly in the most recent season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta…), Kandi Burruss knows how to throw a good party. So of course, when the Georgia Peach turned 45, she went all out with the birthday celebrations.
Before getting the party started, Kandi reflected on the new year ahead with a sizzling photoshoot. “This is 45! I’m thankful for all the love everybody has been sending my way,” she captioned a May 17 post. “Thankful for my family, friends, and good health! I’m gonna continue to unapologetically live life to the fullest, continue to get the bag, and help as many people as I can do the same. It’s time to take it up a notch!”
In a few other posts, Kandi shared that she’s “Looking forward to what this new year will bring!” and shared some behind-the-scenes moments from her photoshoot and celebrations. The Real Housewives of Potomac cast member Gizelle Bryant had a prediction: “Well with this slay you can expect it ALL!”
A few of Kandi’s besties also took to Instagram to wish her well, including Shamea Morton who wrote, “It’s gonna be a looooong night! We’re partying for Kandi’s 45th birthday. LET’S GOOO.” Kandi commented on the post, adding, “You’re the life of every party!”
“Happy birthday Kandi,” wrote RHOA alum Eva Marcille. “You’re a born winner and today we celebrate you! Help me wish the boss Kandi the happiest birthday!”
“May you continue to shine bright superstar! Wishing you the best birthday ever. I appreciate all the years of your love and friendship,” wrote Cynthia Bailey. “Enjoy your special day. You deserve it ALL! Love you!”
Drew Sidora also shared a sweet note and some epic photos, writing, "Happy birthday Kandi. Sending you love and blessings. A perfect example of a businesswoman with beauty, smarts and class."
