Where Is the Cast of Eat Slay Love Now?
The women of Eat Slay Love went on a journey of self-discovery to Vietnam.
When the fierce foursome in Peacock’s Eat Slay Love flew from Atlanta to Vietnam, they shared their intentions for what they hoped to get out of the girls trip. So, what did Nivea, Eva Marcille, Tammy Rivera, and London Hughes envision for themselves?
Musician and Queens Court alum Nivea, whose upcoming 42nd birthday set the trip in motion, said that “it’s about renewal.” The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Eva wanted to “learn how to let go.” British standup comedian London was determined “to be present,” while TV personality and entrepreneur Tammy's aim was “to be less self-critical.”
So, did the Eat Slay Love cast get their wish? Learn where they are now.
Where did the cast of Eat Slay Love go?
The girls trip was divided into three parts designed to acquaint the women with various regions of Vietnamese culture. Stopovers included the bustling city of Hanoi, the countryside in Ninh Binh, and the beachy Nha Trang area.
Along with savoring Vietnamese cuisine, the cast got into local fashions, visited soul-stirring Buddhist temples, worked in a rice field, relaxed in mud baths, and went sea walking. They also got tattoos to represent transformation. Tammy’s new ink covered up an old tattoo of her ex-husband Waka Flocka Flame’s legal name, for example.
Beyond sharing these and other delights, the women also clashed. Following a blow-up with Tammy and Eva revolving around American and British cultural differences, London left the girls trip during the second leg of the excursion.
“I accept both of your apologies,” London told Tammy and Eva. “But I'm just not being myself … I'm just gonna go home. I’m already packed.”
As the trip ended with a fireworks-filled birthday bash, Nivea marveled at everything that had occurred during the trip.
“We went through things on this trip with ourselves and with each other,” she said. “I feel like it’s the end of something, but the start of something.”
London was absent at the journey’s end, but she wasn’t forgotten. Nivea had sent a message to London to check in on her.
“London responded with nothing but love,” said Nivea.
In Eat Slay Love’s second episode London explained that she took the trip to find out who she was “away from comedy.” She discovered that “the real London is a sensitive soul who just wants people to like her … and probably cares way too much about what people think.”
Nivea, Eva, and Tammy closed the trip out by sending out new intentions in floating lanterns to light a path to their futures.
Tammy, overflowing with a sense of gratitude inspired by her sea-walk, reflected on her life. She shared that she came “from nothing” and had gone through experiences in the past that “people in this world wouldn't believe.”
“Being in there with the fish … all I could say was, ‘Thank you, Lord,'" she said.
She intends to continue that walk of grace and gratitude.
Eva shared that she went on the trip for a spiritual journey and ended up making discoveries about herself.
“There is a change that is happening,” she said. “I have been trying to control, only to realize I have never been in control. And so, on this trip, I surrender it all to Him.”
Nivea, meanwhile, declared that she felt stronger than ever.
“I really challenged myself by doing something so unorthodox and I got way more than I ever could have imagined," she explained.
Her intention, she said, was to “consciously always act inside out. We live in a very judgmental world ... But I’m prepared for it, because I am very much more aware and OK and happy with the woman that I am.”

After such a restorative trip, the women are all now focused on career, they explained in an interview with The Daily Dish..
“I’m finally gonna put out some new music,” said Nivea, who expressed deep gratitude for the ongoing “blessing” of her music career. “The new music, that’s the thing.”
As for romance? “My person is still my person,” Nivea said. “I love him very much. You know who you are. I’ll leave it at that.”
Tammy said that she’s “on the same page as Nivea” about getting down to business. That includes making music and concentrating on her Beccare brand of facial care.
“I’m also pushing my skincare line more,” she said. “I’m just getting in the space to completely indulge myself in my career.”
Eva said she’s excited about her kids, noting they're growing up fast. She's also focused on acting, and is appearing on the TV series All the Queen’s Men. She stars as a fierce businesswoman fighting to protect her nightclub empire.
“The new season comes out on Thanksgiving,” she said. “So work, work, work."
