Eva Marcille's Epic Girls Trip with Celebs Is Featured in New Series — What to Know
Grammy Award-nominated musician Nivea is bringing Eva Marcille, Tammy Rivera, and London Hughes across the world for an adventure you won't want to miss.
Get the girl gang ready because Eat Slay Love, a new original series coming to Peacock, is about to take viewers on quite the adventure.
Grammy Award-nominated singer Nivea is celebrating her big day in style, bringing her famous gal pals with her across the world, according to the upcoming show's official description. Reality TV powerhouses Eva Marcille, Tammy Rivera, and London Hughes will join Nivea in packing their bags and setting off for a birthday bash unlike any other.
Here’s what we know so far about the unmissable Eat Slay Love, coming to Peacock on November 7, 2024.
What is Eat Slay Love?
The celeb-studded group of women hope to “rejuvenate themselves” as they head to Vietnam to celebrate Nivea’s 41st birthday and, hopefully, “find some inspiration” along the way, according to the October 31, 2024 press release. Together, they’ll take audiences on a journey of self-discovery as they cross the Southeast Asian country and take in the vibrance of Vietnamese culture.
Of course, viewers can expect some bumps in the road, including cultural clashes and early conflict among the women. But by finding their strengths within, perhaps they can get things back on track.
“The spirituality and beauty of Vietnam serve as the backdrop as Nivea, Eva, Tammy, and London heal from heartache, strengthen friendships, and reevaluate their priorities back home,” the release states.
Who is in Eat Slay Love?
The celebrations revolve around Nivea, the uber-talented musician who starred in the debut season of Queens Court, now available to watch on Peacock. In the new trailer for Eat Slay Love, the “Don’t Mess with My Man” songstress said she wanted to go to Vietnam as part of her continuous path of “spiritual awakening.”
As for her friends, Bravo fans will most certainly recognize Eva Marcille from The Real Housewives of Atlanta and the second season of The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, dubbed the Ex-Wives Club. Eva minces no words when explaining why she joined in on the adventure:
“I flew across the world to escape all of what my heart is going through,” Eva tells the others in the new trailer.
Eva added that despite living in the laps of luxury, money couldn’t buy them that “level of peace.”
Tammy Rivera, the talented TV personality married to rapper Waka Flocka Flame and best known for her role on Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta, adds to the exciting lineup of familiar faces. British comedienne London Hughes, star of the 2020 comedy special London Hughes: To Catch a D*ck, will also step out of her comfort zone to take part in the celebrations.
Nivea sums herself up as the crazy one, while characterizing Eva as the emotional one, Tammy as the fashionista, and London as the funny one in the group. With four distinct personalities, Eat Slay Love is sure to be a trip for the books.
Eat Slay Love is a three-part unscripted series comprising hour-long episodes by Girls Trip producer Will Packer of Will Packer Media, the production company behind Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist. Lighthearted Entertainment — the same production company that worked with Will Packer Media on Queens Court — also produces the new series.
Will Packer, Richard Brown, Rob LaPlante, Jeff Spangler, and Anthony Sylvester serve as executive producers.
Don’t miss Eat Slay Love, premiering Nov. 7, 2024, exclusively on Peacock.
