While we already know a lot about Heather Dubrow's latest real estate purchase — a $16,000,000 mansion in Beverly Hills — fans were just blessed with so much more information, including the house's history and how the purchase came to be.

During Season 15, Episode 8 of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeleswe saw The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member first set eyes on the property when Josh Altman invited her for a private showing.

"Man, that view will not get old," he said upon exiting his car and making his way into the Tower Grove mansion. "It's a quintessential Beverly Hills estate," he added in a confessional. "Major pedigree, perched above all of LA. If you had to find eight acres to sit perfectly above a city, this is it."

Across the way, viewers could see Drake's house, causing Altman to dub his listing a "Hollywood royalty-type property." And honestly, his assessment was correct. The property was owned by legendary Italian film producer Dino De Laurentiis, who died in 2010.

Although the gorgeous view was there to stay, Josh was upfront that the property would be a "fixer."

"I think it's perfect for the Dubrows," he said. "This is a big-time property, and you need to have a big-time appetite to appreciate what this can be. This can be them creating their dream estate." Heather's son, Nick Dubrow, who was working as an intern for the Altman Brothers, also had a feeling his mom would love it.

The big sell? The property sat on 8.5 acres. Originally listed at $45 million, it had been brought down to $20 million. Heather, for her part, didn't even need to look at the whole house, saying the view is what sold it and she already had a vision in mind for what she wanted to do with it.

"If you do what you do to this, the sky is the limit value wise. I know you like a deal, and I know that you, like me, like money," Josh said. "You're going to have one of the most iconic properties in Los Angeles. Think about that."

According to Josh, time was of the essence with the sale.

"You've gotta make a decision, because once I put this out there, even to my own clients, someone's gonna buy it," he said.

How much did Heather and Terry Dubrow pay for their Beverly Hills house?

Unsurprisingly, the Dubrows did decide to put in an offer — and by the end of the episode it was accepted.

"Since I showed Heather the property on Tower Grove, her and [Terry Dubrow] put in an offer," explained Josh in a confessional while a flashback showed that the Dubrows had offered $15.1 million on the $20 million listing. "After a bunch of back and forth, it got accepted at $16.1 million dollars."

“Thanks for finding us the coolest property ever,” said Heather while celebrating the deal. “I’ve been back now several times. I think the house has great bones, and I already have a vision for how I want to change it.”
