How the Altmans Are Involved in the RHOC Season 18 Drama: "That's Totally F-cked Up"
Said RHOC drama involves Gina Kirschenheiter and Heather Dubrow.
As soon as Josh Altman and Heather Altman announced that an Altman Brothers team office was coming to Orange County, we should've known they'd find their way into The Real Housewives of Orange County drama. It's a small world, after all — and one thing we've learned from Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles is that the real estate world is even smaller.
Still, the exact way they'd become involved was a surprise ... until RHOC Season 18, Episode 10 came along. While talking to Heather Dubrow during the episode, which aired Sept. 12, Tamra Judge shared that Gina Kirschenheiter had allegedly told Katie Ginella that she was probably right about Heather calling the paparazzi on herself (a rumor that the actress fully denies). Nevertheless, Gina allegedly couldn't raise this issue with Heather because she had to "keep her close because of the real estate connections." And who might those connections be? You guessed it! The Altmans.
In a flashback, fans saw how Tamra got this information in the first place. "Gina told me she keeps Heather close because she has rich friends that can help her with her career," Katie had alleged during the group's trip to Sonoma.
Back in the present, a dismayed Heather Dubrow said her piece on the matter. "Well guess what? She lost that. Big time." she told Tamra. "That's totally f-cked up. I don't really have a place to put that in my brain right now, but I hear what you're saying and we'll have to have a longer conversation about this."
Later, while sitting down for a meal together, the time to chat came and the allegation was brought up again. Gina, however, fully denied it.
"She's just making sh-t up! This girl's just making sh-t up. And what real estate connections?" asked Gina. "I work hard for my business. I do not need Heather to make my way."
When asked what exactly Gina supposedly said, Katie alleged, "Heather and I are close. She helps me with my career."
"First of all, Heather does not help me with my career," Gina told Katie, who shot back, "But she's helping you with the Altmans."
"I'm not going to work for the f-cking Altmans!" exclaimed Gina before adding more in a confessional: "This lie doesn't even make sense. That I'm friends with Heather for her real estate contacts that I've never asked for or talked about?"
Heather Dubrow's relationship with the Altmans
As fans are well aware, Heather Dubrow has had plenty of face time with the Altmans (her eldest son, Nick, even interned for them). They were also the listing agents behind the historic $55 million sale of her Orange County mansion and they found the Dubrow family their new $16 million Beverly Hills abode.
And while Gina insists she hasn't asked her friend for an intro, she has since stated that she wouldn't be opposed to working with the real estate experts. In fact, Gina's open to collaborate with anyone who has a good listing up that she can find a buyer for. (Tracy Tutor, who also recently expanded her business to OC, would be another great connection.)
"I have not worked with Tracy or Josh Altman [but] I am open to working with anyone. I respect the other agents. I like working with the other agents, so if we did cross paths, that would be amazing," Gina said in an August interview with BravoTV.com "I have been seeing their listings pop up, so trust me, if I have a buyer for one of their listings that's a great day for me."
