Ariana Madix Reveals What We Didn’t See from James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss’ Engagement
We have all the behind-the-scenes scoop about the Vanderpump Rules moment.
Fans got a front-row seat to James Kennedy and Raquel Leviss' engagement during the October 12 episode of Vanderpump Rules. James proposed to his longtime love at a Raquel-themed Coachella bash that, of course, culminated in him getting on one knee and her saying "yes."
And, in case you were wondering, Raquel had a feeling the trip to Palm Springs may end in happily ever after. "I had a feeling James was going to propose when we arrived at the Polo Fields. That’s when I saw the baby pink iconic Coachella arch balloons… all the little details were so me… a strawberry margarita being served at the catering truck, aerial performers, a cute little photo booth set up -- all of my favorite things," she recalled on Instagram about the epic event, which was attended by the couple's friends. "It truly was a grand gesture of love. I love you so much [James]."
James added in a separate Instagram post that this was the night that Raquel "[made] me the luckiest man in the world …. Such an epic night," he said, adding that it was "the happiest night of my life!"
Ariana Madix also took to Twitter to spill some behind-the-scenes secrets from that sweet proposal, as well as shed some light on some moments fans didn't get the chance to see from the trip to Palm Springs.
Ariana explained that Tom Sandoval revealing the happy engagement news to the group "was part of the plan for him to tell us. He handed us all confetti poppers and we lined up to set them off and welcome them back for a dance party. [No] detail was left to chance. [We] also got a second fireworks show all together."
Ariana went on to share everything else you ever wanted to know about the trip. Enjoy her commentary below.
