Emily Simpson Reveals Annabelle “Does Not Like Modeling," But Still Has Showbiz Dreams (EXCLUSIVE)

Emily Simpson is continuing to sing the praises of her 11-year-old daughter, Annabelle Simpson.

The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member gave viewers a glimpse into her daughter's interest in professional modeling during Season 17. But, things have changed just a bit for both Emily and Annabelle. Emily gave BravoTV.com an update on Annabelle's future in modeling since the last time viewers saw her on screen. And let's just say, she's doing a little bit of a career change.

Is Emily Simpson's daughter still modeling?

Unfortunately, Annabelle has shifted away from modeling, but, she still loves being in front of the camera. "Annabelle does not like modeling," Emily told BravoTV.com.

This is because Annabelle would rather act on screen, then pose for the camera. "She's gotten offered multiple jobs recently and I've had to turn them all down because she doesn't like them because they're boring," she said.

But, there might be some things in the works for Annabelle's future acting career. "She is with Atlas [Talent Agency], which is representing her, and she's been auditioning for movies and TV shows, so hopefully something comes up for her soon."

Emily Simpson's thoughts on helping Annabelle's dreams

Season 17 of RHOC captured Annabelle's first foray into modeling, with Emily going along with her daughter on her first photoshoot. Emily was encouraging of her daughter's newfound interest, especially since she has always referred to her as her "little star."

Emily Simpson Is Ready to Become a Stage Mom

"Annabelle just like came out of the womb with this huge personality," Emily said during Season 17 Episode 4. "She's been interested in modeling for many years. I just wanted to make sure that she's to the point where she would take it seriously, and I feel like we're finally here."

Later in the episode, the mom of three revealed during a confessional why she is so ready to support her daughter's interests, even though she is still in school. "I'm trying to give my children a better life than what I had," she said. "And I think as parents, our goal is to do better than the generation before us, which isn't that high of a threshold, honestly."

Emily continuing to support Annabelle's dreams of acting is proof of this. Although modeling might not be for her, Hollywood better watch out.
