Emily Simpson’s Throwback Photo of Shane Proves Annabelle Is “Dad’s Mini”: “Genes Are Strong”
The RHOC cast member's daughter is the spitting image of Shane Simpson.
In a recent Instagram video, Emily Simpson gushed about her daughter Annabelle Simpson, sharing close-up shots of her "little star".
"Your daughter has beautiful eyes," The Real Housewives of Orange County cast member wrote over the video, seemingly echoing what her followers have said about Annabelle.
After adding that her followers have also referred to Annabelle as her "mini," Emily offered a different take: "More like 'Dad’s Mini,'" she wrote in the caption of the post, later pointing to an adorable throwback photo of her husband and Annabelle's father, Shane Simpson.
The photo of Shane was indeed the spitting image of Annabelle. "The genes are strong," Emily added to her caption.

Emily Simpson's update on Annabelle's modeling career
Emily also loves to gush over her daughter's accomplishments.
On Season 17 of RHOC, Emily revealed the start of Annabelle's modeling career, sharing the pre-teen signed with an agency and booked her first job.
On Season 17, Episode 4, Emily opened up about why it was the right time to get Annabelle into modeling. “Annabelle just like came out of the womb with this huge personality,” she said. “She’s been interested in modeling for many years. I just wanted to make sure that she’s to the point where she would take it seriously, and I feel like we’re finally there.”
During a confessional interview, Emily explained: “As a mother, I feel like it is my job to make sure that my children are happy and they are able to pursue whatever their dreams are. It’s really rewarding, and it’s amazing.”
Later, on Part 2 of the RHOC Season 17 reunion, the California mom, who also has twin sons, Luke and Keller, shared more details about Annabelle's budding modeling career.
"She's just fierce," Emily exclaimed after noting her daughter "did something for PacSun" as well as Italian brand Carmen Sol. "She's just so confident, and she's such a badass. It's amazing. She's so great."
