When Dr. Paul Nassif married his bride, Brittany Pattakos, this past weekend in Santorini, Greece, he chose to surprise her by serenading her with a song — and the way he came up with the idea might surprise you: Paul, the ex-husband of former Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Adrienne Maloof, actually got the idea from another ex-husband of a former Beverly Hills 'Wife, David Foster, who was previously married to Yolanda Hadid before marrying Katharine McPhee in June.

How to Watch

Watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Bravo Tuesday, November 19 at 8/7c and next day on Peacock. Catch up on the Bravo App.

Paul told Page Six he got the idea after running into David and Katharine on a shopping trip. “I know Dave very well, and so I actually started taking singing lessons from [Katharine’s] mother,” he said. He ended up taking between 12 and 15 lessons from Katharine's mother, Peisha Arten, who is a vocal coach.

The Botched star sang “Always Remember Us This Way” by Lady Gaga from A Star Is Born. He explained that he and Brittany loved the film and even did their first dance to “Is That Alright?” from the movie's soundtrack.

Paul's singing debut was captured in video and even made it on to Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen as the Mazel of the Day. Take a look, below.

Ultimately, it sounds like the song was a success. “A lot of the wives in the group were saying, ‘Why couldn’t you do this for me?’ and a lot of them were crying to their husbands,” he recalled. As for his vocal talents, Paul humbly said, “My voice is OK.”
