Does Dorit Kemsley Want More Kids? "We’ll See"
The RHOBH cast member reveals who is putting pressure on her to welcome baby No. 3.
With Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave pregnant during Season 10 of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, her pals Kyle Richards and Dorit Kemsley took it upon themselves to throw the mama a baby shower. Dorit even mentioned in passing in the episode that she adores babies.
And since she's a mom of two adorable kids, Jagger and Phoenix, already, when The Daily Dish spoke to Dorit in a recent phone interview, she revealed whether she'd be interested in expanding her family.
"I could tell you I love being a mother more than anything. Love. I think if I was younger or if I’d started earlier, maybe. I think that time passes and I think at one point it was if it’s meant to be, it’ll be. And it will happen. I think too a lot of people — 'cause I’ve talked about it to friends and family — and, you know, I’d have 10 kids. Truly. I love them so much and it’s so fun being a mom. And there’s just these really rewarding moments. I’ve had both sides. Those that say, 'Listen, you have a boy and a girl and you’re blessed and so on and so forth, and you’re so busy.' And, and then others that say, 'Your kids are so cute. You have to go for it. You have to just have more kids.' I’m on either side. I think if I was a little bit younger, I would probably go for it."
(She speaks more about the balance between work life and home life in the RHOBH Season 10 After Show, above.)
Dorit added that she even has a number if she were to have more kids with husband, Paul "PK" Kemsley. "I think I’d want two more," she said, noting it isn't even PK who is requesting another Kemsley.
She said, "I mean the problem is that Jagger is asking me almost every day, like for he wants a baby. We have to have a baby. He’s told me, he’s actually told me, 'You’re gonna have another baby, Mommy.'"
Still, Dorit noted, "I know women are having babies well in their 40s and I applaud them and I think that’s incredible. And I think that in this day and age you certainly can. I think that for me, I wonder whether it’s a road I want to go down, Like I said, I’m grateful and blessed and I feel like I tend to leave things up to fate. So we’ll see. I can’t say no for sure, but, you know, we’ll see."
Well, she already knows a great venue for a baby shower should fate decide to intervene.
