After remaining neutral in the family’s drama on RHONJ Season 13, has Dolores’ stance changed?
While some of the ladies on The Real Housewives of New Jersey have taken sides in the falling-out between sisters-in-law Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, Dolores Catania has remained friends with both parties.
As the relationship between the family members fell apart during RHONJ Season 13, which culminated with Melissa and Joe Gorga deciding not to attend Teresa’s wedding to Luis “Louie” Ruelas, Dolores refused to take sides. Is that still the case today?
Dolores Catania’s Thoughts on Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga’s Feud
During a chat with Reality Blurb, Dolores weighed in on whether she is still staying out of the drama between Teresa and Melissa. “It’s the way I started, and it’s the way I’ll end,” Dolores said about how she hasn’t ever picked a side. “I always stood my ground on my principles.”
She can remain neutral, she said, because she hasn’t witnessed either party do anything that she deems unforgivable.
“I’ve never seen anything so egregious where I would say, ‘I can’t be your friend because of what you did to my other friend,’” she told the outlet. “That would be really bad. The things that they fight about, I think they can get by. So I kind of let it all fizz out.”
Where Dolores Stands with Melissa, Teresa, and Louie Today
After the tense three-part Season 13 reunion wrapped in June 2023, Dolores confirmed that she’s still on good terms with newlyweds Louie and Teresa by participating in a charity golf outing with the two (and her boyfriend, Paul “Paulie” Connell) on June 26.
“Such a fun day with some great people,” Teresa wrote in the caption of a video she posted to TikTok.
The following day, Dolores celebrated her “favorite Irishman” Paulie’s birthday, and she received well wishes from both Melissa and Teresa in the comments section.
“Happy Birthday Paulie!!” Melissa wrote in her message. “Have the best birthday.”
“Happy Birthday Paulie,” Teresa added in her own comment. “[H]ave the best birthday ever. Wishing you many blessings.”
