Captain Sandy Yawn is in love! The Below Deck Mediterranean boss confirmed she is in a relationship with gospel singer Leah Shafer during a recent interview with The Cheat Sheet. But Captain Sandy has actually been sharing lots of absolutely adorable photos of herself and Leah on Instagram since they first met in person in Los Angeles last November.
The couple's first picture together was posted on Captain Sandy's Instagram on November 19, 2018. Captain Sandy called the meeting "a true blessing" in the post. She also praised Leah's singing as "a voice that transcends to make the world brighter."
Captain Sandy continued to gush about Leah's music while sharing a glimpse of her performance at a gala in Mexico in March.
Every pic that Captain Sandy has shared of herself and her girlfriend since then has been even more gorgeous than the last, whether they're having a "beautiful weekend in Vegas" or just hanging out with friends.
But our favorite photo of the couple is definitely the one of them taken in Denver, Colorado earlier this month. Captain Sandy has never looked happier!
Captain Sandy moved from L.A. to Denver, where Leah is based, to be with her girlfriend. “I moved here for love,” she told The Cheat Sheet.
Captain Sandy and Leah have been "in a deep, committed relationship" since they first met in November. “It was definitely unexpected,” Leah said of falling in love with Captain Sandy during an interview with The Cheat Sheet. “It just happened, when you meet another soul that you connect with at such a deep level, it is unexplainable and so beautiful.”
