Below Deck Sailing Yacht's Alli Dore is officially a mom. Alli shared the news on Instagram on Tuesday (August 31), along with several photos of her newborn son and details about his birth.
"On 26th August at 5:17am we welcomed our little baby boy River George Thompson into the world," she wrote. "He’s come a little prematurely but is doing better every day. We are so proud of our strong little man."
The new mom then opened up about the weeks leading up to the baby's birth. "The last couple of weeks we faced challenges I never thought we’d have to it’s been really emotional but also the most special time in our lives because we have River at the end of it all. I’m so grateful to have [boyfriend Benny Thompson] by my side because I couldn’t have done this without him," she said. "Proud of our little family and counting the days until River gets to come home."
Alli was feeling the love in the comments section as several members from the Below Deck family commented, including Captain Glenn Shephard, Colin Macy-O'Toole, Isabelle “Izzy” Wouters Hannah Ferrier, Dani Soares, Daisy Kelliher, and Ashling Lorger.
Alli first shared that she was expecting in a post on Instagram on June 21, which she later opened up more about during the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 2 reunion, which also aired in June.
In August, she shared the news that she was expecting a son. "So excited to be a boy mum in a few weeks," she wrote on Instagram at the time. "And I can’t wait to see @bennithompson become the most amazing dad to our little man."
