Below Deck Med Alum Anastasia Surmava Got Married in a Dreamy Vermont Wedding
The Below Deck family shared the sweetest messages about the Below Deck Med Season 4 stew’s big news.
Congratulations are in order for Anastasia Surmava! The Below Deck Mediterranean alum married Will Higginson on July 12.
Anastasia, who appeared as a stew and chef in Season 4 of Below Deck Med, as well as in Below Deck Galley Talk, announced the happy news in a post on Instagram on July 13. “Mr. & Mrs. Higginson! 07/12/2022,” she captioned a photo of herself and Will holding hands and all smiles while walking in a field amid a gorgeous mountainous backdrop. The photo was tagged at the Mountain Top Inn and Resort in Chittenden, Vermont.
The Below Deck family sent their love to Anastasia in the comments of her Instagram post. Colin Macy-O’Toole, Kasey Cohen, Gabriela Barragan, Dani Soares, Alli Dore, and Jamie Jason were all among those who sent their congratulations to Anastasia and Will.
Will also shared more photos of his and Anastasia’s big day on his Instagram on July 14. “Someone pinch me, I must be dreaming,” he gushed in the post about Anastasia becoming his wife.
In the days before their wedding, Anastasia took a moment to express her gratitude to Will, as well as all of their loved ones, as she prepared to walk down the aisle. “You make me believe in everything. What a start to the wedding week!” Anastasia wrote on Instagram on July 10. “Big thank you to all of our friends and family who helped us celebrate our love last night. [Two] days until we make it official.”
Will popped the question to Anastasia in March, and the couple shared the moment they got engaged in Vermont with their Instagram followers.
Aesha Scott couldn’t have been happier for Anastasia and her relationship during an interview with Bravo Insider in March. “I still talk to her quite a bit. And she’s smashing it as well,” Aesha said of her fellow Below Deck Med Season 4 stew at the time. “It’s so nice seeing her with Will, her boyfriend. She’s just so in love. So, yeah, that’s really lovely.”
