What Newly-Single Below Deck Alum Chef Ben Robinson Has Been Up to Lately
Before he announced his breakup, Ben Robinson took fans inside his culinary career.
It's been a while since viewers saw Ben Robinson on Below Deck or Below Deck Mediterranean, but the chef has been keeping busy with some other projects.
In addition to operating a catering business, Ben has been shooting cooking tutorials from his kitchen studio (check out his grilled cheese lesson below).
Chef Ben has also partnered with Emerald Cruises to give guests an interactive cooking demo and to hear about his past "culinary experiences." His next cruise with the company will be in the Caribbean in late January 2025.
He also sells merchandise — from bandanas to aprons and chef-quality knives — on his website.
Though Ben's professional life has remained consistent from his time on both of the Below Deck shows, he has gone through some significant changes in his personal life.
Chef Ben Robinson opens up about calling off his engagement
The Englishman announced his breakup from fiancée Kiara Cabral on Instagram on September 16.
"Hey guys, I hope everyone’s had a wonderful summer. I have missed being in touch with you, but I’m finally able to share my adventures. You will understand, it’s been difficult. I am no longer getting married..." he wrote in the caption of his post, which was a solo shot of him with "Free Bird" by MOONLGT playing in the background.
Speaking on behalf of his ex, Ben added, "We have decided to go our separate ways, and I think that this is the best decision for both of us."
Ben didn't reveal what exactly led to the split, though he hinted at some relationship issues in the rest of his caption.
"I would rather not discuss the reasons behind these decisions, but I feel it’s important for me to express my circumstance. With any luck my grievances will be overshadowed by the support of my loyal followers, friends and family," he added. "You always give me strength. I’m excited to continue my culinary inspirations with my non-gaslit cooktop, and trusty blowtorch. After all, nobody deserves a troublesome flame... Cheers Lovelies..."
Ben and Kiara announced their engagement in May 2023 after four years of dating. The chef previously dated his Below Deck Season 4 castmate Emily Warburton-Adams, and he was at one point linked to Below Deck chief stew Kate Chastain and Below Deck Mediterranean chief stew Hannah Ferrier.
