Madison LeCroy Shares Her Thoughts on Craig Conover’s Newly Renovated House
The Southern Charm-er weighed in on the results of her castmate’s extensive home renovation.
After a years-long gut renovation, Craig Conover’s Charleston house has a gorgeous new backyard, porch, and kitchen, just to name a few of the recent improvements. Now that Craig’s dream home seems to be finished, Madison LeCroy, who also recently renovated parts of her new house, is sharing her thoughts about her Southern Charm castmate’s abode.
“The house is nice. I’ve seen it,” Madison said during a September 14 Amazon Live before noting that both her house and Craig’s look drastically different from what viewers saw on the show’s Season 9 premiere. “It’s crazy, because when we filmed, even like in my house, my house is already completely different than what it was.”
“I’ve already got so much more furniture,” she continued. “Which is kind of embarrassing, because I’m like, ‘Aw, man, y’all come back and see what the house actually really looks like [now]’ because, in some of the spots, it looks a little empty.”
In the video above, which is a preview of Season 9 Episode 6 of Southern Charm, Madison was blown away by Craig's renovation progress. "Oh my god, look at this place," she exclaimed. Giving Paige DeSorbo credit for her interior design work on Craig's home, Madison raved, "Paige, you have outdone yourself."
Craig was proud to show off some of the home's recent upgrades, telling Madison, "We have a real dining room table now," and taking her outside to see the pool that was being built.
"This is insane," Madison said, to which Craig responded, "Exciting, isn't it?"
Craig Conover’s Renovation Details
As viewers saw on Season 7 of Southern Charm, Craig moved out of his house due to an asbestos problem. After temporarily moving in with Austen Kroll until the issue was resolved, Craig had an exciting update to share on the show’s Season 8 premiere. “I am finally back into my house,” he said. “My real house.”
Shortly after, Craig started gut-renovating the home, including transforming his sewing room into a sleek kitchen and turning his former roommate’s bedroom into a “studio/office.” Recently, Craig also revealed that his fabulous pool and porch are finally finished.
On Season 9 Episode 1, Craig was brainstorming with Paige about what the backyard should look like. “Outdoor furniture we do need to talk about,” he said, to which Paige replied, “OK, I think it should be black and white… I want it to be like Palm Beach, Miami.”
When Craig asked, “What about, like, purple for the [Baltimore] Ravens?” Paige quipped, “I’ll move out.” As Paige shared in a June Instagram Story, she is “obsessed” with how the backyard turned out.
Madison LeCroy’s Home Renovation
Madison also made some major changes to her home this year. “Today is an exciting day,” she shared in a January Instagram Story video. “Because I have [an] install with tons of things. One, starting out my glam room.”
Showing the in-progress space, she explained, “This is gonna be lit up with chandeliers… this is going to be a full-blown closet.” Going on to share information about “some chairs that are going in upstairs,” Madison declared, “It’s just gonna be perfect.”
“Also,” she continued as she walked to a different part of her property, “I have something really exciting going into my gym today. So, you guys know that I do a sauna, and now I just had the new cold plunge that will attach right here to the side.”
