We Just Discovered Something New About Craig Conover's Home
We weren't expecting this interesting feature located inside the Southern Charm-er's Charleston home.
Over the past few years, we've caught up with Craig Conover as he's slowly but surely secured and renovated his dream home in Charleston, South Carolina.
In addition to sharing the details of his gut renovation, Craig previously explained to BravoTV.com that some of the significant changes to his house included turning his original sewing room into a spacious kitchen and transforming his former roommate’s bedroom into a “studio/office.” More recently, Craig revealed that his backyard pool and porch area was complete (we were sure to take notes on that too!).
Even with all these documented details, we were surprised to find out another element of Craig's home we'd never seen before on Season 9, Episode 8. Keep reading to see the other special feature Craig put in his house.
Craig Conover has an indoor herb garden in his Charleston home
On Season 9, Episode 8, which aired on November 2, we saw Craig tending to an exciting feature inside his home: an herb garden.
In the room, Craig had a two-tiered shelf set up with bright lights hanging over black planters filled with dirt and sprigs of greenery. In addition to tying up the lights to give the greens plenty of much-needed Vitamin D, we also saw Craig blow on the leaves as well. We weren't sure about the nature of his methods, but we definitely trust the "male Martha Stewart" with all things home!
What's more, a close-up shot showed us the details of the herbs, which included several green leaves of what appeared to be basil and other plants.
Craig Conover opens up about his home renovation
During the Season 9 premiere of Southern Charm, Craig told his girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo, that the construction happening in the house was “exciting because every time we go downstairs, there’s something new.”
Later, Craig declared that his new stairs were "so much nicer than they were” and that his pool, which was being built at the time, was already “so awesome.”
“Baby, this is sick,” he told Paige as he surveyed the layout of the pool. “It looks so big,” she replied.
“When me and Paige first started to date, the house was still in shambles,” Craig stated during an interview. “I think this house is finally to the level where I can start to look at the future, and the future of me and Paige’s relationship.”
Although the house was still in progress at the time, Craig explained to Paige, “It really feels like a home for the first time since I lived here.”
