Patricia Altschul is adding her own unique flair to her holiday décor. The Southern Charm matriarch just shared a glimpse of her vintage holiday wreath on Instagram — and let’s just say, it’s definitely nothing like your average red and green adornment!
As captured in the photo below, Patricia’s wreath does away with all of the typical Christmas colors and instead sticks with a more untraditional color palette: pink. The wreath is made up of baubles in shades of both hot and pastel pink, with hints of gold, silver, and white shining through.
As Patricia describes in the caption, the bright color scheme is inspired by — yup, you guessed it — Barbie! The wreath, which is festooned with glittery bows, pearl hearts, and mini Christmas tree-shaped adornments, pays homage to the iconic toy by featuring a small Barbie doll (visible only from the waist up) nestled in each corner.
“I love my vintage Barbie wreath from @parkerkennedyliving ... it makes me smile looking at all the amusing touches but it’s also really pretty #christmas #holiday #ornament,” she wrote of the wreath alongside the photo.
