Shep Rose Responds to Kathryn C. Dennis' Comments Regarding Self-Tanner and Their Hookup
These two Southern Charmers may not have panned out romantically, but their fling is still buzzy.
It may be ancient history by now, but Kathryn C. Dennis and Shep Rose's romantic past was mentioned on the Season 5 premiere of Southern Charm. Kathryn spilled some details about their fling, from four years prior, while having a little girl talk with her Charleston gal pals as they prepped to hit up a birthday barbecue in Shep's honor.
And while discussing that time, Kathryn shared an interesting detail about their hookup. "It was so long ago, but he did make me shower beforehand. So I wiped off all my spray tan because it got on his sheets one time," Kathryn confessed to the ladies about her hookup with Shep years prior.
That comment led a fan to ask the Charleston bachelor about his past with Kathryn.
Well, Shep was quick to clarify.
While things didn't ever pan out for them romantically, Shep and Kathryn have remained friendly in the years since. In fact, in an interview with The Daily Dish back in July 2016 (ahead of her stay in rehab), Shep commented on how he's managed to stay on good terms with her. "But if I see her, when I see her, I'm protective. I like to go right up to her and I'm like, 'Are you OK? Can I get you a drink? Is everything ok?' I don't know, I feel like she's like a deer sometimes that needs to be finessed or something like that. But not everyone sees her that way. You know what I mean? It's so subjective," he said at the time. "But I've got a soft spot for her, no doubt."
