Mercedes Javid’s “Next Chapter Has Begun” at Mauricio Umansky’s Real Estate Brokerage
The Shahs of Sunset real estate agent has joined Kyle Richards’ husband’s company, The Agency.
Mercedes “MJ” Javid is taking a major step in her real estate career.
On February 28, the Shahs of Sunset mom shared that she is joining Mauricio Umansky’s luxury brokerage. “It is with great excitement and pride that I get to announce my new home with [The Agency],” she captioned the post. “I am so grateful for [Emil Hartoonian] who is an incredible industry leader. Stay tuned!”
According to her bio on the company website, MJ is “a consistent top producer with decades of industry experience and a lifetime’s worth of expertise in the Los Angeles market.”
“Mercedes Javid brings negotiation savvy, attention to detail and concierge-style service to The Agency,” the blurb continues. “Working from the Calabasas office, she primarily serves clients on the Westside.”
Conveniently for MJ, her new office is located in the same neighborhood as her home. “We picked up from the Hollywood Hills, said ‘bye-bye,’ moved to the suburb,” MJ explains in the video above while giving a tour of her Calabasas house. “It was on my vision board, by the way: ‘When I get married and have children, I am moving to Calabasas.’”
Shortly after announcing the news, MJ received praise from numerous loved ones and Bravolebs on her Instagram post. “Congratulations babe — hard work pays off,” her husband, Tommy Feight, wrote. “Your son and I are very proud of you.” Melissa Gorga commented, “So excited for you babe!!” and Andy Cohen declared, “This is fantastic. Congratulations!!!” Gizelle Bryant added that the news was “Awesome!” and Leah McSweeney wrote “Get it” with a fire emoji.
MJ isn’t the only familiar face to start working for The Agency recently. On February 24, it was announced that Kim Richards’ daughter Whitney Davis joined the Aspen office. As viewers of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills are well aware, several of Kyle Richards and Mauricio’s family members are also employed by the company, including Kyle’s eldest daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie; Kyle and Mauricio’s daughter Alexia Umansky; Mauricio’s father, Eduardo Umansky; and Mauricio’s sister, Sharon Benton.
