Destiney Rose Shares How to Host the Most Epic Halloween Party

Last year, Destiney Rose threw a Halloween dinner party, and the spooky gathering was so stunning that it left Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi "speechless." Everything from the eerie decor to the speciality drinks were perfectly festive — and now, the Shahs of Sunset cast member is sharing all of her top tips for throwing a jaw-dropping Halloween fete.

"Decor is everything," Destiney exclusively told BravoTV.com. "You should for sure have candles and flowers and beautiful colors and accentuate it with whatever theme you’re going with." For her party last year, Destiney transformed her backyard into "the garden of black roses" and filled the space with the unique flowers and tons of creepy decor. "I made sure that all over the house was black roses, skulls, and [I created] perfect specialty cocktails," she recalled. 

Those cocktails, Destiney said, are "very important." When hosting an event of any kind, "You want to always have a signature cocktail...It could be one, it could be two." At Destiney's skull-adorned bar for her party,  guests could order drinks called "Black Berry Widow" and "Beetle Blood." 

The theme should also be incorporated in the food for the night. "Because everyone eats with their eyeballs, you want to make sure that you have amazing, fun, eerie type of plates that come out," she explained. Her 2020 party included individual charcuterie cones as appetizers, which is now her preferred alternative to a classic charcuterie board. "Who the hell wants to pick off of a tray that everyone else is picking?" she asked with a laugh. "Can everyone just from here on out just do single types of appetizers so nobody’s like breathing over the same charcuterie board?" 

Shahs of Sunset viewers got a full look at Destiney's party on the show's June 20 episode. "I like to go big," she explained at the time. "I love dressing up and I love, just like, all this stuff and black roses and crows and just all of it."
