Are You Like Kylie Jenner and Jordyn Woods, Too Dependent on Your BFF?
Kylie Jenner says their breakup "needed to happen."
Kylie Jenner has been able to be philosophical about the shakeup in her friendship with Jordyn Woods in the wake of her cheating scandal with Khloe Kardashian's ex Tristan Thompson.
“I think that this whole Jordyn situation needed to happen for a reason,” she said on Sunday's Keeping up with the Kardashians. “For me, for her, for you, for everybody. She was my security blanket, she lived with me, we did everything together. I just felt like, ‘Oh, I have Jordyn, I don’t need anything else.’”
“I feel like there’s a part of me that needed to grow without her," she added. "And sometimes people are there for certain reasons and certain times of your life and not for others.”
Jordyn has said publicly that she felt "bullied by the world" in the wake of the scandal, in which she insists she only had a dispassionate kiss with Tristan. But she's been able to move on to a new home and new business ventures, with hints that perhaps she will reconcile with Kylie one day; they seem to be working on it now.
One intriguing phenomenon that has emerged since is that the ex-boyfriends of the KarJenner ladies seem to stay buddied up after the breakups. Such is the case with NBA stars Thompson and Kendall Jenner's ex Ben Simmons, who are posting matching photo galleries and captions of their workouts on Instagram and hanging out at nightclubs together.
Hey, at least they have each other!
