Josh & Heather Altman Just Bought Their “Dream House”: Details
The MDLLA couple’s incredible new waterfront home will “eventually” be their full-time residence.
Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles couple Josh Altman and Heather Altman just bought an incredible new home.
“I’m super excited we are closing escrow in a couple [of] weeks on a new purchase in Newport, on the water,” Heather shared with BravoTV.com on March 8. “I’ll be remodeling that over the next year and making that, eventually, one day, our full-time residence.”
“It’s beyond our dream house,” she continued. “We got more than we could have ever wished for.”
The Altman Brothers, where Heather works as CEO, expanded to Orange County in 2020, and “funny enough,” Heather shared, “it was one of our new hires on our team” who found their new house. “We always tell all the agents in Newport, ‘This is exactly what we’re looking for. If you find it, you can represent us,’” she explained. “One of the new agents did handwritten notes to a couple [of] particular areas on the water that we wanted, and he got a call back from a client who’s never been on the market. He just got to them at the right time, and we were able to strike up a deal, and he represented us. We close in a couple of weeks.”
The five-bedroom home’s waterfront location is particularly exciting to the couple. “We have a Duffy,” Heather said. “Eventually, one day, when Josh becomes an expert in driving a boat, we can get that boat that he’s always dreamed of. But for now, we’ll stick with our little electrical Duffy, which has been great to us.”
“We are just so excited,” she said. “And the kids are much more excited than we are.”
Although Heather plans to do some extensive renovations, “This house is just everything,” Heather declared. “I could cry just talking about it. I’m gonna have my grandchildren visiting me at this home.”
During Season 14 of MDLLA, viewers watched as Josh and Heather debated whether to sell their stunning Bel-Air home. More recently, the couple decided they are “keeping [the] house” for the foreseeable future while they renovate the new Orange County home.
While Heather admitted, “I’ve known since the day I started dating Josh that any house that we’ve ever been in is always available for sale… That’s just part of being married to a real estate person,” she explained that this house is the exception, declaring, “I’m never selling it!”
