MDLLA Sneak Peek: See the Dollar Shave Club Founder’s Gorgeous Beverly Hills Flip
Josh Flagg will do whatever it takes to sell this brand-new home.
For Josh Flagg, the key to a quality home is in the details, and luckily in this week’s episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, the broker’s latest listing is chock full of them. Dubbed Franklin Canyon, the 3,227-square-foot home is a complete re-build located in the Beverly Hills Post Office neighborhood. The property was originally purchased for $1.5 million by South African father/daughter duo Mark and Gina, who then spent an additional $1.5 million gutting and rebuilding the property from the ground up. More to know: Mark founded the hugely successful Dollar Shave Club! (Click on the video above for a tour of the home.)
Right from the get-go, Josh was impressed with the property. “You can see the difference in the quality of this house, it’s all about the finishes,” he said. “Contemporary houses don’t usually have iron doors, they have these sliding glass fleetwoods that everyone uses. It’s all been done to be modern and timeless, which is why she will get a premium for it.”
And to get the house sold, Josh will go to greater lengths than ever before… even if it means filming a mini-movie starring himself and his hilarious assistant Hillary. You’re just going to have to tune in tomorrow if you want to catch that! (Reminder: MDLLA airs every Thursday at 9/8c.)
Listed for $4.195 million — that’s a whopping $1,300 per foot — the five-bedroom home is pricey for the ‘hood, but given all those aforementioned upscale details (Custom stained cabinetry! Luxury appliances! Custom steel doors!), Josh thinks they’ll get their price.
Take a tour of the home and tune in tomorrow at 9/8c to watch the full episode.
