Caroline Stanbury’s At-Home Birthday Celebration Was Completely Over the Top
The Ladies of London alum rang in her 44th birthday amid a sea of balloons in her Dubai home.
Caroline Stanbury may look like she’s 25 years old, but the Ladies of London alum actually rang in her 44th birthday this week, and per usual, she did so in style.
Celebrating in her 13,500-square-foot home in Dubai, Caroline awoke with a sleep mask on and drank champagne in her master bedroom, surrounded by hundreds of balloons hanging from the ceiling. “I woke up like this ... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ME!!” Caroline captioned a video Instagram post, which panned across the room to reveal that the balloon string actually had sentimental photos of the birthday girl adhered to them.
Another sweet detail: "Happy birthday Caroline" was written in gold pen on her bathroom mirror!
Later in the day, Caroline gave her Instagram followers a tour of her birthday decoration — and, um, they were totally over the top. Despite self-quarantining in her manse for more than a month now, Caroline’s family was still able to pull off some exquisitely fun trimmings for the celebration.
First up: An ombre balloon installation by Happy Bubbles Balloons taking over Caroline’s main staircase. Next up: Confetti covering her entryway’s floor, flag garland hanging from the ceiling, and oversized mylar balloons in the shape of “44” and “CC.” Lastly: A dining room overflowing with even more balloons, enormous floral bouquets, gifts galore, and confetti being shot in the air (by Caroline’s daughter Yasmine, of course!).
Caroline’s definitely setting a new bar for self-quarantine birthday celebrations for us all!
