Wait, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Doesn't Know When Her Dad Is Getting Married?
The RHOBH 'Wife discusses John Mellencamp's upcoming wedding to Meg Ryan.
It's been just a few months since Meg Ryan confirmed her engagement to longtime love John Mellencamp. But if you're looking for some details on when the rom-com queen and the legendary rocker plan to make it official, don't ask Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave. Turns out, her famous dad and stepmom-to-be haven't spilled any of the beans to her about their wedding day.
“You think that they’re involving me in the planning? One, I’m on Real Housewives. Two, I’m a loudmouth. Three, like they’ll probably tell me the day before, like ‘Show up’ and do not tell me why. They’re very private," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability couch told Page Six about their upcoming big day. "Me, not very much.”
Mellencamp and Ryan shared their engagement news last November, and Teddi quickly celebrated it on Instagram by co-signing their romance with a big heart. It's been quite the journey to happily ever after for those two. Ryan and Mellencamp have been involved with each other for close to a decade. They began dating in 2010, but have broken up and gotten back together several times; officially rekindling their on-off romance in 2017.
So, what kind of stepmom does Teddi think Ryan will be? “When you think of Meg Ryan, she’s like all those things you want her to be. She actually is that person… you know, I just think Meg’s an amazing person. She’s kind and she’s smart and she’s funny and she’s one of those people that when you’re talking to her, she really listens,” Teddi told Page Six.
Sounds to us like she's going to make a great addition to the Mellencamp family.
