What Does Mike Hill Think About Cynthia Bailey's Friendship with Ex Peter Thomas?
The RHOA former model opens up about the two guys in her life.
Cynthia Bailey and Peter Thomas may have ended their marriage in 2016 and finalized their divorce in 2017, but The Real Housewives of Atlanta exes remain pals. Plus, Cynthia has moved on in a major way and is dating sportscaster Mike Hill. Things are so serious, they even have an official hashtag (#CHill). So, that may explain why Mike is so, well, chill about her friendship with her ex-husband.
"Yes, I am very much still friends with Peter. Peter and I were married for quite a few years, but we are no longer married — and we are not getting back together. But we are friends," she told Bossip.
And she added this very real message about Mike's take on the whole thing: "Mike Hill is a very grown-ass, secure-ass, comfortable-in-his-own-skin-ass man. He is fine with me remaining friends with whoever my grown ass want to be friends with."
We like the sound of that, TBH.
Back in 2017, Cynthia discussed her post-marriage relationship with Peter, noting that at the time, "We're cool. We're not on the phone every day talking, but I think that we're friends, but we're good. I wish him well, I wish him love again, and I hope that he wishes me well."
Later that year, she offered even more insight into her friendship with the club owner, whom she called her "best friend" at the time. “I still kinda depend on him,” she told ET. “We were friends before we were boyfriend and girlfriend, friends before we were husband and wife... He's someone that has always had my back and someone I still trust very much."
Cynthia is a lucky woman: She has found the love of her life in Mike (more on that in the video above) — and a BFF in Peter.
