Daisy Kelliher is entering a new chapter with a drastic new look. And we’re absolutely loving it.
The Below Deck Sailing Yacht cast member recently ditched her dirty blonde hair color in favor of a much lighter shade that fell somewhere between golden and platinum blonde. She showed off the updated ’do via Instagram on Thursday (July 13), less than a week after the Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 finale.
Daisy Kelliher embraces a new, lighter look
Since joining the reality series in 2021, Daisy has rocked a fairly consistent hairstyle. She typically donned a medium-length cut with brown and wheat undertones throughout her blonde locks, which she frequently wore down. It was an effortlessly pretty style that complemented her classic yet playful fashion sense; however, the updated color not only modernized Daisy's look, it also highlighted her edgier side.
The chief stew unveiled her new hairstyle after providing a closer look at her various piercings and an inner-lip tattoo that read, “F—k off.” The Irish-born yachty spoke about the body art in Season 2 of Below Deck Sailing Yacht, saying she decided to get the ink in Miami after a particularly difficult year.
“I got a tattoo in 2020, but it’s quite offensive,” she told the charter guests. “2020 has been such an awful year that I got my only tattoo … I was so pissed at the world.”
She continued: “I think in our job, because I have to do the whole ‘sweetness and nice’ thing, I love knowing that it’s secretly there.”

It’s not unusual for people to change their appearance during a time of renewal and transition. For many individuals, an updated hairstyle is an empowering way to let go of the past and let the world know they've entered a new stage in life. Although Daisy hasn’t explained the reason behind the change, it’s worth noting that it came after an admittedly rough season on the Parsifal III.
Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 heavily explored Daisy's complicated love triangle with her co-stars Gary King and Colin MacRae. She addressed the drama in several Instagram posts that showed her with other crewmembers.
“Not the easiest episodes for me to watch… the tears were real,” Daisy captioned a July 10 Instagram post. “[B]ut finally getting some closure after a couple of tough months… Another epic send off to an epic season with an incredible crew.”
Daisy also shared a sneak peek at her Below Deck Sailing Yacht Season 4 reunion outfit: a Rat & Boa maxi dress with a cowl front, draped shoulder cuffs, and a black-and-white polka-dot print. The July 8 post referenced Daisy’s difficult season and her optimism for the future.
“It’s official there’s a reunion…” she wrote. “And I couldn’t be more excited to put this chapter behind me.”
