Here's Why Kyle Cooke Has Plans to Grow an Even Longer Mullet
The Winter House cast member revealed new information about his unique hairstyle.
Long live Kyle Cooke’s mullet — well, for a little bit longer at least.
On the October 24 episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Kyle was joined by his Winter House castmate Brian Benni as the pair dished about Season 3 of the show. Elsewhere in the episode, host Andy Cohen questioned Kyle about his beloved mullet, wondering if the Summer House OG was planning to hold on to the retro-style hairdo he began sporting in spring 2022.
Is Kyle Cooke going to keep his mullet?
“So the mullet … she’s real cute because she’s got a little bounce in the back,” Andy cheekily exclaimed regarding Kyle’s look. “I know that you’re gonna save it for BravoCon, and then what?”
“We’ll see,” Kyle stated. “People tell me it looks better in person so … I’m sorry," he joked, noting how his appearance could potentially be perceived on WWHL.
“No, it does look great in person!” Andy affirmed as Kyle added, “It has a different identity every time."
“I just feel like though, at some point …” Andy trailed off, to which Kyle agreed, “Yeah, at some point.”
After Brian suggested Kyle add “some color" to the hairstyle, Kyle continued with a few more ideas: “I’m gonna try and grow [it] out and maybe auction [it] off for [the] charity [...] Locks of Love.”
More of Kyle Cooke’s epic style moments
In addition to being a mullet master, Kyle has also proved himself to be a costume aficionado, considering the looks we’ve seen over the years for the incredible Summer House theme parties.
In 2022, for Kyle’s 40th birthday, the New York City resident went all out for a hoe-down-themed bash, where we saw 30 bales of hay, a mechanical bull, the musical stylings of the country music band Locash, Western-themed balloons, and, of course, a cowboy-centric look worn by Kyle.
The highlight of the evening was definitely Kyle showing off his cowboy outfit – er, or parts of his cowboy outfit, as he made a grand entrance wearing boots, a hat, a belt with a bandana, and, well, that was about it.
While giving a speech on the mic, Kyle shocked the crowd by lifting up his bandana to display a smaller toy cowboy hat placed over his nether region.
The moment was actually so iconic that it was actually nominated for a Bravo award for BravoCon 2023: “The Bunny Honoree For Most Iconic Bravo Item of the Year.”
Also among the nominees for that category are: Gizelle Bryant’s missing tequila bottle featured in The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, Captain Jason Chambers' disco helmet featured in Below Deck Down Under, Robyn Dixon’s BlueTooth speaker featured in The Real Housewives of Potomac, and Shereé Whitfield’s She News newspaper from the reunion featured in The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
